What’s at stake…
Carpenters’ Hall has stood in Old City, Philadelphia for nearly 250 years. In 2024, as we celebrate the 300th anniversary of The Carpenters’ Company, our great meeting hall will be entering a new age as well. As a national landmark, Carpenters’ Hall sees as many as 130,000 visitors every year. Why?
Over the last 245 years, Carpenters’ Hall has bourn witness to the First Continental Congress, the rise of the American building trades, even the first American bank robbery. Today, it is open to the public, for free, as a nationally significant historic site.
With your help and support, the building will endure to share its stories with millions over generations to come. It is up to us to sustain the building for the future. It is our patrimony, our charge.

While you review the sponsorship levels below, think of what your contribution could do to correct the damage and wear that Carpenters’ Hall has already sustained. In 2018, Preservation Design Partners did an assessment of the building and identified key issues that need to be addressed in the building fabric of Carpenters’ Hall. Below, you’ll find a few photographs documenting the work they did to that end.
Again, we thank you for your time and consideration.
