Join Carpenters' Company member and architect Timothy Kerner and master builder Brent Hull for a conversation about historic glass, the windows in Carpenters' Hall, and historic millwork. About Tim Kerner:
Timothy Kerner, AIA is a member of the Carpenters Company and principal of Terra Studio, an architecture practice in Center City with a focus on adaptive reuse, residential and educational design. He teaches architecture and urban design at Temple University and holds degrees in Architecture, City Planning, and Design of the Environment from the University of Pennsylvania. Tim researches and writes about the history of the urban surroundings and his articles can be found in Hidden City and Context.
About Brent Hull:
Brent Hull is an award-winning master builder. He is an expert in historically accurate architectural millwork and moldings and his work is in nationally registered properties and homes across the country. In the early 1990’s he studied Historic Preservation at the prestigious North Bennet Street School in Boston and learned the art of traditional building. He returned to North Texas in 1993 and started his business in the garage of a 1911 Bungalow.
Over the past 30 years, the Brent Hull Companies have received numerous awards, including ICAA John Staub and Traditional Builder Palladio Awards. Brent is an author, designer, speaker, consultant and teacher. He loves to read, sketch and spend time with his family. His greatest professional aim is to help everyone who desires to build better and more beautifully to do so.
